latest reports The Latest Sustainability /CSR Reports June 2009The last 3 weeks have been packed with the publication of many Sustainability / CSR Reports. Here I some I came across and found interesting:

  • Verizon (North American Telecoms Company)
  • Infosys (Business Consulting, IT Systems and Outcourcing Company)
  • Ford (I guess there is no need to tell you who Ford is)
  • Siemens (Germany-based global technology company)
  • Aracruz Cellulose (Global leader in eucalyptus pulb – very resource intensive)
  • BCE (Canadas largest communications company)
  • ST Microelectronics (Producer of semiconductor products)
  • Coca-Cola Hellenic (One of the largest bottlers and vendors of Coca-Cola company’s products in the world)
  • Orange (a large Telecommunication company based in Europe)
  • Lufthansa (Global Airline)
  • BAA (Owner of a lot of Airports across the globe)
  • Enel SpA (Italian Energy Company)
  • Xstrata (Global Mining Company)
  • Vodafone (One of the largest telecommunication companies globally)

Sustainability Reporting Season 2009 – A First Look

The 2009 Sustainability Reporting season is gaining momentum. More and more companies now start to publish their Sustainability Reports looking back at their hot topics, strategy, goals and key performance indicators of 2008.

That is why I started to have a closer look at some Sustainability Reports and listed the most interesting reports here today.

Microsoft
Next to the short print report Microsoft has most of its information on the Web. A good move in my opinion. Link to the Report

Adidas
Interesting report with some useful case studies. Link to the Report

Novo Nordisk
The ever-green in the Sustainability reporting world has delivered another good report. Link to the Report

Standard Chartered
Interesting report with a good overview on the relevant topics of this UK-based bank. Link to the Report

Henkel
Very informative and colorful report. Worth checking out. Link to the Report

2009 A Sustainable Welcome to 2009

I would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year and hope that the holiday season wasn’t too stressful you.

Anne and I just came back from holiday yesterday and really enjoyed our days on the very quit island of Fanoe on the Danish coast.

Some pictures will follow later this week.

But now it is back to work and I have a busy year ahead of us.
I have a lot projects running at the moment. One of which is the relaunch of the SustainabilityForum.com. This will hopefully be finished in the next few weeks. So look out for a new look and some new exciting areas.

I will also continue posting weekly updates on interesting jobs and news regarding Sustainability. This has proven to be very useful for you the reader. So I will thrive to deliver of course.

Enough for now. More posts will follow this week.

Todays post is the last post before Christmas and this year. I would like to thank everyone and especially my faithful readers for their support this year. It has been a real rollercoaster ride this year and I only hope that 2009 will not be as turbulent as 2008. But I guess these are things out of our control. We can just live our life to the fullest. And this is certainly what we are doing at the moment.

I therefore wish everyone a great Christmas and a Happy New Year. Anne and I are taking the rest of the year off to recharge our batteries in order to be 120% ready for 2009. 2009 will be an interesting year and I hope that all or least some of you will continue to be part of this community, provide me with invaluable feedback and enjoy reading my blog.
