Thank you for visiting my website. My name is Fabian Pattberg and I run this website. The topics discussed here all focus around the topic of sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
My background and current consulting business
I started out in the corporate sustainability / CSR field in 2004 working in business environments for companies such as Futerra, AccountAbility and E.ON UK all on sustainability / CSR related topics. From 2008 to 2011 I worked as a freelance Sustainability / CSR consultant helping clients to (1) manage the production of their sustainability / CSR reports, (2) to plan and coordinate on-and offline stakeholder engagement campaigns and (3) advise them on an appropriate CSR strategy / implementation / communication and subsequent use of social media. At the beginning of 2011 my family and I moved back to Germany from the UK and I joined our family business PMM Services GmbH & Co. KG as a managing director.
Intention Of This Website
This website is intended to be a central place for sustainability / CSR news and commentary as well as my thoughts and experiences while having worked in this field. I believe that these topics are very important for our sustainable future but are sometimes presented in a over-complicated and often misleading way. In my posts I will try to present these topics in an easy and accessible way as well as aiming to get to the important points very quickly so that you will find everything you need to know right away.
