@Matthew: I guess there are hybrids as well. I have never considered these. I would say that Sustainability and CSR Directors are mostly Influencers.

@Elaine: Agree. Not much is being communicated I believe. This would need to change. Any suggestions how? I have some thoughts but what would you do?

Hi Fabian, Love this list.
Are there hybrids, say influencial-activists?
Where do CSR or Sustainability Directors fit in? IMO these roles in organization have the potential for both influence, activity (as apposed to activism), and engagement with the subject matter. These are either the hands on workers in sustainability or managers of them. I Think I'll this Engagers.

hi fabian, great insights. I agree that more people should speak up and try to influence. This is especially true in relation to all of us as consumers. How many of us actually write to companies about their sustainable practices? How many ask to see their policies before we buy? And how many of us ask our governments to publish a sustainability report ? hmm, interesting thought.
