Hi Fabian,
Your online polls are a great idea - enable to soft sound what people in the CSR/Sustainability/Biz fields think about certain CSR-related topics.

With regards to your results, I would add that it is also our role as CSR/Sustainability consultants to 'educate' our clients and change their perceptions about CSR and what it can bring to their business.

Our clients and the CSR/Comms/PR/Supply Chain managers we are talking to have very clear KPIs. With our avices and strategic insights, we need to be able to help them deliver value - in the end we need to figure out the ROI of CSR, and this can only be done if we really understand our clients' business objectives, stakeholders expectations, the marketplace, etc... It is by going far beyond "CSR is the right thing to do" and more towards "CSR is good for your business" that we will make CSR much more than just a management fad.

Adam Werbach has written an interestin article on that topic: http://www.ethicalcorp.com/content.asp?ContentI...

Looking forward to more polls,
Cheers,
P.
